Idelle Arrowood

Idelle Stephens Arrowood, 90, formally of Farley Ave., died March 7, 2009. She was the daughter of the late John Stephens and late Maggie Nix Stephens and the widow of the late Samuel F. Arrowood. Idelle was a native of Walhalla and a member at Peace Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include: three sons; Herbert Eugene Owens, Greenberry Owens Jr., both of Inman and David Arrowood of Chesnee, three daughters; Margaret Henry of Buford, GA, Linda Charping of Hartwell, GA and Kathy Foster of Pauline.

Services will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at Peace Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Chuck Thornton and Pastor Dale Beebe officiating. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 Tuesday at Stribling Funeral Home. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Park.

The family is at the home of a granddaughter, Crystal and Charles Ellenburg, 3910 S. Church St., Roebuck.
