Grace Ella Samples Eremity, 84, of 117 Connecticut Avenue, Greer, SC passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2012. She was a native of Beckley, WV, the widow of Matt Eremity and daughter of the late Thomas Mays and Eunice Neely Mays. She was of the Baptist Faith and a homemaker.
Survivors include 3 daughters, Glenda (Sammy) Clayton of Greer, Joyce Samples of Wytheville, VA and Lisa (Jeff) Bell of Powdersville, SC; 4 grandchildren, Jerry Upton, Weston , Grayson and Caroline Bell; a great-grandson, Allan Upton; and a special friend of the family, Kay Justice. She was predeceased by a son, Allan Samples; a brother, Leonard Mays; and a sister, Mary Lois Murray.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at The Stribling Funeral Home with graveside services at 2:30 PM Thursday, March 22, 2012 at the Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
The family would like to thank Open Arms Hospice for the very special loving care that was given to Grace, and in lieu of flowers would like any memorials be made to the Open Arms Hospice, 1836 W Georgia Rd, Simpsonville, SC 29680.
The families are at their respective homes.
