Life Legacy
Joshua “Lance” Pittman, 23, of Taylors, passed away on January 4th after injuries sustained in an automobile accident on January 1st. He loved to celebrate life and was loved by many friends, as well as family. He is survived by his father and stepmother, Jackie and Lynn Pittman; his mother and step-father, Judy and Ray Cox; a brother, David Hayes, son of Frank Hayes; step-siblings: Ariel Frye Talley, Nathan Frye and Erin Frye. Also extended family: aunts : Carolyn McCullah and husband, Danny; Wanda Smith and husband Barry, cousins Brian and Alex Smith; John McCullah and Trisha McCullah Martin; grand-parents Bobbie and Marion Pittman, David and Caroline Eller, and best friend Adam Boivin.
Lance worked for M&M Oil Company in Greer. He loved to dance, shoot pool and karaoke. He just loved to have fun. He will be missed by all.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday January 6th at Stribling Funeral Home in Duncan, SC at 2 pm, preceded by a visitation of friend and family from 12 noon to 2 pm. Memorial donations made to the funeral home for Lance’s expenses would be greatly appreciated by the family.
