Mildred Estell Owings, 78, of 560 Briarcliff Dr. died Tuesday, October 20, 2009. She was the daughter of the late Herbert Henry and Lillie Johnson Farmer and the widower of Jim Owings.
Survivors include; a son; Carroll Owings of the home, three sisters; Lottie Deaton of Spartanburg, Betty Theo of Woodruff and Myrtle Finch of Charlotte, NC, three grandchildren; Heavenly Wood and Kyle and Kurt Owings. She was predeceased by a daughter, Starr Wood.
Services will be held 4:00 P.M., Thursday, October 22, 2009 at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Carrol Calwell officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
