Jack Reynolds Stribling, a licensed funeral director since 1973, founded The Stribling Funeral Home in the same year. He established the Stribling Monument Company in 1958. He is a graduate of Woodruff High School. Jack is a member of Unity Baptist Church in Woodruff.
Joey Stribling
A native of Union County, Joseph (Joey) Reynolds Stribling grew up in the Cross Anchor Community. Joey is the son of Jack Reynolds Stribling and Barbara Lanford Killian. He is a graduate of Woodruff High School and Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service. He attended Spartanburg Technical College and Clemson University. Joey has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 1990.
Joey and his wife, Melinda White Stribling, live in the Moore-Duncan area. They have three children. His children, Connor and Skylar, attend River Ridge Elementary School in Spartanburg County District 5 School System. Joey coaches District 5 Little League baseball and football. His family attends Anderson Mill Baptist Church where he and Mindy assist in the two-year-old Sunday School Class. Mindy teaches a three-year-old class at Anderson Mill Road Early Learning Years.
Jane C. Tucker, Licensed Funeral Director
A native of Spartanburg County, Jane Cooper Tucker joined The Stribling Funeral Home in 2006. She is a graduate of James F. Byrnes High School and Limestone College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and Management. Jane was licensed as a funeral director in 1987.
Jane and her husband, Donald, live in the Holly Springs Community in the Inman-Lyman area. She has one daughter and three grandchildren. She is a member of Lyman United Methodist Church; Order of the Eastern Star, Lyman Chapter #299; and the Landrum Quilters. Jane serves on the Spartanburg County Forestry Board.
Wilton C. Rhinehart, Funeral Assistant
A native of Spartanburg County, Wilton C. Rhinehart joined The Stribling Funeral Home in 1995. A retired employee of Jeffrey Manufacturing in Woodruff, Wilton and his wife, Cornelia Edge Rhinehart, live in the Poplar Springs Community at Moore. They have two sons and two grandchildren.
Wilton graduated from Duncan High School and Cecil's Business College. He attended Spartanburg Methodist College and proudly served his Country in the US Navy. He is a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church and serves as the Music Director at Moore First Baptist Church. He is a member of the Carolina Quartet.
Wilton is Past Master and a member of Poplar Springs Masonic Lodge #415; Past District Deputy Grand Master, 19th District, State of South Carolina; 32nd Degree KCCH Scottish Rite and a member of Hejaz Shrine.
M. Dupree Fowler, Funeral Assistant
A native of Spartanburg County, Dupree Fowler has been a resident of Lyman for the past forty years. He joined The Stribling Funeral Home in 1999 following his retirement at Boiler Tube in Lyman. Dupree is a graduate of Roebuck High School. He attended Spartanburg Technical College, R. D. Anderson Vocational School and completed two years of training with the Red Cross.
Dupree and his wife, Geneva Burnette Fowler, are members of Jackson Baptist Church in Wellford where they are members of the Senior Saints. They have four children, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Jimmy Johnson, Funeral Assistant
A native of Spartanburg, Jimmy Johnson joined The Stribling Funeral Home in 2006. He graduated from Greer High School and worked in government public service for over thirty-six years.
Jimmy and his wife, Venelia Burch Johnson, live in Duncan. They have two children and four grandchildren. Jimmy is a member of the Duncan Church of Christ.
Ronnie Blackwell, Funeral Assistant
A native of Spartanburg County, Ronnie Blackwell joined The Stribling Funeral Home in 1986. He is a retired employee of the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Department after 29 years of service. Ronnie and his wife, Robin McAbee Blackwell, live in the Holly Springs Community. They have one son.
Ronnie graduated from James F. Byrnes High School. He attended Greenville Technical College and the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy. He is a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church where he serves in the Audio Ministry. He is President of the Holly Springs Youth Association.
Ronnie is Past Master of Irving Southworth Masonic Lodge #350; Past District Deputy Grand Master, 21st District, State of South Carolina; and a member of Hejaz Shrine.
In Memory of Ben Morgan
Ben Morgan was a member of The Stribling Funeral Home Family from 1995 until his death in 2005. Ben is survived by his wife, Jean Taylor Morgan and two children. During his time of service, Ben touched many families with his love and kindness.
